Alberto Savinio

ALBERTO SAVINIO (Andrea Francesco Alberto de Chirico) was born in Athens in 1891 and died in 1952. His musical compositions drew notice while he was still a teenager, and he was a celebrated pianist. In 1924, his third opera, Perseus, premiered at The Metropolitan Opera in new York. Savinio wrote more than forty books including novels, criticism, and memoirs.
