Jane Vandenburgh

JANE VANDENBURGH is the award-winning author of two novels, Failure to Zigzag and The Physics of Sunset, as well as Architecture of the Novel: A Writer’s HandbookThe Pocket History of Sex in the Twentieth Century: A Memoir, and The Wrong Dog Dream: A True Romance. She is also the author of “When Grace at the Bliss Cafe Calls,” published in The New Yorker. She has taught writing and literature at UC Davis, George Washington University, and, most recently, at Saint Mary’s College in Moraga, California. A native of Berkeley, she lives in the Bay Area with her family and her new dog, Georgia O’Keefe.
